October 19th, 2007 · No Comments

downtown-sail.jpgBe sure to read today’s New York Times article “San Diego’s Downtown Has a Sunnier Disposition” it is the perfect example of how popular our beautiful city is!

The article discusses how both Californians and Buyers from across the country are going to Downtown San Diego to purchase their second home. What is the draw? A downtown that is thriving with the hustle and bustle of a big city and the “laid back” feel of a beach town! A metropolis filled with ample housing options, plenty of casual and fine dining, exciting nightlife venues, boating, shopping, theater, live concerts and the big ticket bringing in huge revenue for the city – Petco Park! Oh and don’t forget great weather!

Downtown San Diego has had a complete facelift over the last 10 years making it a destination city drawing second home owners from near and far. Buyers range from the local San Diegan who lives in North County, but enjoys an evening downtown and would prefer to pass on the drive home and make it an overnight stay, to those escaping Arizona heat or Eastern winters for the mild and warm San Diego weather that we enjoy year round.
